GUIDED RELAXATION AND SELF-CARE

Self-care is an important part of our daily lives, both for ourselves and our clients. This (bring your own) lunch-and-learn will include discussions on the benefits of self-care, as well as the barriers to engaging in self-care, and tips for utilizing self-care. The presentation is designed to be interactive, and will include a guided visualization exercise, a mindfulness exercise and ways of implementing these techniques in your work with clients.

Objectives:

  • Learn tips and benefits of self-care for ourselves and our clients.
  • Learn guided relaxation and mindfulness techniques for our own use and in our work with clients.
